Anthony B. Sanders is Professor of Finance in the School of Management at George Mason University where he holds the title of Distinguished Professor of Real Estate Finance.

He has previously taught at University of Chicago (Graduate School of Business), University of Texas at Austin (McCombs School of Business) and The Ohio State University (Fisher College of Business). In addition, he served as Director and Head of Asset-backed and Mortgage-backed Securities Research at Deutsche Bank in New York City.

Professor Sanders has testified in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). He has spoken on the subjects of banking, commercial real estate, commercial mortgages, housing and securitization at the European Central Bank, Bank of Japan and the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the United Kingdom. In addition, he has given presentations in a number of countries including South Africa, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Dubai, Canada, Chile, Mexico, China, Japan and Singapore.
