Designing your resume and cover letter can be difficult. How do you describe your experience? How can you fill up a page with no work history? How do you format everything? The Office of Career Services is here to help you build your best resume and cover letter using our industry knowledge.
We offer three methods of review: by appointment, drop-in, or workshop.
Appointment
Reviewing your resume in a one-on-one 30-minute appointment offers you the opportunity to get individualized attention for your resume or cover letter.
Book an appointment with the Costello College of Business Office of Career Services via the Navigate Mason portal.
Workshop
If you are not sure where to start with your resume or cover letter, we offer virtual and in-person resume and cover letter building workshops led by our expert Career Advisors several times a semester.
In these workshops, our Career Advisors will teach you how to format your documents, identify key skills, and tailor to specific job postings.
See this semester’s workshop dates on the Career Events calendar here.
Drop-In
Drop-In resume reviews last 15 minutes, and are on a first-come, first-served basis during our drop-in hours.
