Job Description:
Green Spear is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Strategy Intern to join our innovative team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a startup environment focused on transforming CO2 into high-performance battery-grade graphite, a critical material for the electric vehicle and energy storage industries. The intern will work closely with the leadership team, contributing to various strategic initiatives that are vital for the company’s growth and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Position will contribute to the following initiatives as appropriate:
- Financial Modeling: Assist in developing financial models to support business decisions, funding strategies, and market expansion plans. This will involve working with projections, cost analyses, and revenue forecasts to provide actionable insights.
- Customer Discovery Interviews: Conduct interviews with potential customers to gather insights on market needs, product requirements, and customer pain points. These insights will inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Support the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy by analyzing market trends, identifying target customer segments, and refining our value proposition to meet market demands.
- Competitive Analysis: Perform detailed competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats. This will involve researching competitors, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and recommending strategies to enhance Green Spear’s competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Working on an MBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for conducting interviews and synthesizing customer feedback.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passionate about sustainability and clean technology.
